Additional Information:
This diverse wildflower mixture really excels with nearly 30 carefully
chosen species of the very best native wildflowers, offering a rich, sustainable
habitat and a balanced display of natural colour. Wildflowers are the very life
blood of the countryside with many of our most endangered butterflies and
insects relying on this type of habitat as a natural food source for survival.
Not only do colourful wildflowers play a vital role within our countries
delicate ecosystem, the natural attraction to native and migrating butterflies
can be very rewarding and also very pleasing to the eye. For the best results,
broadcast these seeds on to a fine and clean seedbed. Weeds should be controlled
with a herbicide before sowing takes place and soil fertility should be
reasonably low. Most wildflower species take 6 - 12 months to establish before
flowering so we have included native cornfield annuals
for a little first year colour.
