Our blend of soft grass species for the quintessential summer hay meadow. If left uncut from late spring the diverse range of grasses will produce the pretty seed heads associated with traditional grasslands. Not only is this mixture aesthetically pleasing but establishing even a small area of Ornamental Grass Meadow can provide excellent cover and a valuable food source for insects and invertebrates. These in turn will, together with the seeds produced from the grasses, provide year round natural food for many wild birds and small mammals. Cut twice a year or occasionally graze to maintain a healthy sward. This mixture requires up to 12 months to fully mature.
