Information:
One hundred per cent Italian ryegrass for a very high yielding cutting ley over two years. This mixture is very quick to establish from seed, grows earlier in the year than perennial ryegrass and can provide additional spring grazing (from an autumn sowing) if required. Italian ryegrass also responds extremely well to fertiliser applications so with very good mid- late season regrowth has the potiential to produce three high yielding cuts of silage in an average rainfall year.
