Additional Information:
An older style of grass production for quality hay and grazing in low input systems. An established pasture which contains species other than just ryegrass not only performs better but will recover more quickly from extremes of UK weather. The sward will also provide a greater range of forage growth phases so production is more evenly balanced throughout the growing season. The species included in this mixture have varied rooting patterns which exploit different soil depths and lift important trace minerals from beyond the root range of ryegrass alone.
