Our pony paddock (or pasture) mixture without ryegrass provides a diverse range of grazing forage without the higher protein content of  ryegrass based mixtures which may contribute to weight gain and/or an increased risk of equine laminitis. This seeds mixture is ideal for either low stock level permanent grazing or the rotational grazing of horses or ponies on restricted intake management.  Even without ryegrass the resulting sward produces a durable, persistent and hardwearing turf suitable for establishment on most soil types and does particularly well on light or free draining ground.
