Brief Guide:
For the reproduction of historic hay meadows
Provenance:
Harvested, cleaned and packed in England
Mixture:
No mixture specification available
Summer harvested from mature grasses of unimproved English hay meadows, each listed as a Site of Scientific Interest (SSI). The harvesting process is carried out several times on each site over the summer months to ensure seeds from grasses which mature earlier and later in the season are collected. The gathered seeds are then cleaned and thoroughly mixed together insuring the diversity of the harvested meadow is maintained within the mixture. The resulting product is the closest we can currently source for the reproduction of native grass meadows in the UK.
