Additional Information:
All plants require water from soil. Dry soils can be a problem to most fauna
as at times there may simply not be enough moisture present to sustain plant growth
particularly during the summer months. The wildflowers in this mixture are known
to inhabit these soil types and are very suited to drier or free draining ground.
Desiccation of these plants may still take place on occasion, but they are all
well adapted to producing new growth once suitable levels of moisture become available
once again. Most wildflower species take 6 - 12 months to establish before
flowering so we have included native cornfield annuals for a good display of first year
colour.
