Additional Information:
Fast growing and very
productive. As a long term green manure this mixture will not only condition the
ground and increase soil fertility but will produce many cuts of nitrogen rich
leafy matter without the addition of artificial fertiliser. The cut
material may be mulched directly into the ground or be removed and added to the compost bin as a valuable, high nitrogen filler to be mixed with drier, more fibrous materials. Regular
cutting to a maximum height of 4 inches is essential to maintaining the highest
productivity from this green manure crop for up to 2 years.
