This is both a universal and
diverse mixture containing grass species specially chosen for large public amenity or
open parkland areas. The resulting dense, hardwearing turf may be cut by
mechanical mowers, occasionally or permanently grazed by sheep or deer. The small amount of wild white clover
will fix a little nitrogen and help make the sown area more self sufficient in nutrients,
thus minimising the requirement for fertiliser and reducing management costs. All
the species included in this mixture are very hardy and do well on all soil types.
Sow at a higher rate for faster and more uniformed establishment. Ideally keep at
a height of 25- 50mm.
