Perennial herbs added to our
Non-Ryegrass Equine Pasture mixture will provide additional natural vitamins and minerals to the diet of any
grazing horse or pony compared to that of a 100% grass only diet. The main
benefits of establishing deep rooting grass and herb species in a paddock or
pasture are a greater depth of soil is permeated allowing the extraction of moisture, nutrients & minerals from deeper in the soil strata.
Via a deeper root system critical trace elements can also be lifted to the surface
into the stems and leaves of herbs and readily consumed by the foraging animal.
