Wildflower Seeds for Woodland Glade are suitable species for open grassland within, or the semi shaded grassland adjacent to a sparsely populated orchard, young wood or sparce coppice. Tree management may be required as the area matures to prevent the leaf canopy from closing over the established glade.
Whilst these wildflowers are shade tolerant they do benefit greatly from opening up very shaded areas and will flourish with less competition for sunlight.
Clear and control nettles, brambles and ground ivy before sowing this mixture.
Top in late October and remove all autumn leaf litter during dry winter weather.
Never apply fertiliser or weed control to areas sown with Wildflower Seed for Woodland Glade
