Description

This general sportsfield grass seed mixture will produce a hardy dense and compact turf for school or college sports ground, community playing fields or any other designated sportsfield areas requiring a multi purpose grass surface suitable for most summer or winter competitive ball games.

The resulting turf will be relatively fast to establish, offer good resistance to drought or prolong periods of wet weather and recover well from light damage during the growing season

For quicker and more uniformed establishment of the Sportsfield Grass Seed mixture sow at the higher rate. Allow the new seedlings to establish to a height of approximately 50 -75mm before initially cutting to 35-50mm. This helps promote tillering of the amenity ryegrass. Thereafter reduce with each mowing until the desired height is obtained.
