Description

Parkland Grass Seed is a relatively low yielding but diverse seeds mixture containing indigenous species specifically chosen to quickly establish over larger, non prestigious areas, traditional parkland, common land or similar sites. Also suitable as relatively non competitive, companion grasses to fruit orchards and/or over widely spaced tree-lined public places. Offers fast establishment and good ground cover for weed control.

The resulting turf may be cut by mechanical mowers or lightly grazed by sheep, cattle or deer.

The small amount of white clover in the mixture will fix a little nitrogen and help make the sown area more self sufficient in nutrients thus minimising the requirement for fertiliser.
All of the species included in this Parkland grass seed mixture are perennial, very hardy and do well on most soil types.
